Everyone achieves. Everyone succeeds.

We are committed to providing a nurturing, inclusive environment where every young person is valued and supported to achieve their full potential. Our mission is to foster both academic growth and personal development, equipping students with the skills, confidence, and qualifications needed to live an independent life after school.

“Students like coming to school because they feel supported. They say staff are fun, friendly and kind.”

– Ofsted

Who we are

The Write Time is the UK’s first William Glasser Quality School, specialising in SEN education. With an Ofsted rating of ‘Good’ in 2023, we collaborate with local authorities across South London, supporting students with diverse needs, including (but not limited to): ASD, Asperger’s, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, PTSD, Dyslexia, and Dyscalculia.

Our Unique Approach

With our educational model, based on Choice Theory, we support students to feel empowered and take responsibility for their learning. This therapeutic, student-centred approach is complemented by small class sizes, vocational pathways, and on-site mental health support, ensuring each student thrives academically and emotionally.

Our Mission

The Write Time’s mission is to help people. We believe that by providing the best quality support, training and education, people can thrive. Through our education programmes and outreach activities our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to achieve this goal.

Since 2014, The Write Time has successfully supported over 500 students, helping them develop the skills and confidence to transition into further education or employment.

our Ethos

Choice Theory values guide our school

We believe in personal responsibility, and this is a core part of our teaching. Regardless of past experiences, every student has the ability to make better choices today and in the future. By guiding our students with empathy, experience and advice, we help them unlock their potential and realise that they have the power to shape their own path forward

“My favourite thing about being at The Write Time is I feel like I am in one big happy family, and I enjoy all of my lessons. However, I really enjoy my mentoring sessions with Eddy.”
