Feldenkrais Movement

Learning Through Movement

Feldenkrais Movement helps students develop body awareness, coordination and emotional regulation through gentle movement and sensory learning. By strengthening the connection between the brain and body, students build the confidence, independence and practical skills needed for everyday life.

Sessions may support:

Learning through movement enables students to feel more comfortable, capable and engaged in both school and everyday activities.

Every Child Receives Different Support

No two students require exactly the same support. Some may benefit from mentoring, while others access one or more specialist therapies alongside their education. Every programme is tailored to the individual needs, strengths and aspirations of the young person.

Working in Partnership With Families

We believe the best outcomes happen when school and home work together. Parents and carers are an important part of every student’s journey, and we are committed to building open, supportive relationships throughout their time at The Write Time.

Families are involved through:

  • Personalised Support Plan (PSP) reviews
  • Regular communication with staff
  • Parents’ evenings
  • Monthly coffee mornings
  • An open-door policy
  • Collaborative meetings with professionals where appropriate

By working together, we ensure every young person receives consistent support both at school and at home.
